    • Check Engine Light is on. Scanned vehicle for codes. P0316- Engine Misfire Detected On Startup P0340- Cam Position Sensor Circuit Fault P0345- CMP Sensor A Circuit Problem – Bank 2 Engine oil was very low. Added 1.5qts. Removed engine oil drain plug and collected oil into clean container. Engine oil is very metallic, bronze looking most likely due to being ran low on oil causing bearings to get oil starved. Engine has oil consumption issue, no leaks at this time. Engine oil was overdue for service. Serviced, sound and shaking stopped, no CEL returned this visit. Recommend monitor engine oil between services and do not exceed mileage interval for oil change.

    • Transmission works okay cold. After ATF has reached operating temperature was able to make transmission shudder on 5-6 and easier on 6-5 forced downshift. sometimes in 4th as well. 3-4 and 4-5 shifts were much safer after fluid got warm. These symptoms are typical for this transmission as it begins to wear down – recommend rebuild and upgrade.
