DIAGNOSE: CUSTOMER STATES WHEN COLD IS WORSE – SHUDDERS FROM 3 TO4 AND 4 TO 5. AT 45-55MPH ENGINE REVS BEFORE SHIFT. WHEN COLD IF YOU FLOOR IT, IT'S OKAY BUT SLOWING TO CORNER CAN FEEL THE SHUDDER AS WELL.

P0740 – TCC out of range. Test drove, occasional 3-4 flare. Torque converter clutch okay until warm on medium throttle then slips and tripped code. Recommend to discontinue driving until repairs are completed. If the pump is damaged, it is on back order.

Transmission is full and fluid is a little dark, smells old. No codes. Transmission starts in 3rd gear. It's being commanded into 1st and tries to be in first but when you roll forward it goes to 3rd. Makes popping noise when going forward and won't hold 1st. Recommend rebuild/replace
