- Transmission works okay cold. After ATF has reached operating temperature was able to make transmission shudder on 5-6 and easier on 6-5 forced downshift. sometimes in 4th as well. 3-4 and 4-5 shifts were much safer after fluid got warm. These symptoms are typical for this transmission as it begins to wear down – recommend rebuild and upgrade.
