- Checked for diagnostic trouble codes, found one: P0087 – Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low – Bank 1 Monitored rail pressure while cranking, commanded is 5200psi, was only producing 510psi, then suddenly the rail pressure shot up to commanded and vehicle started. Ran for 10 minutes then died again and wouldn't restart. Same symptoms as before. Checked fuel pressure from supply pump, slowly ramped up to 45psi and engine started, with running was only producing 35psi. Specification is 58-85psi. Recommend replacing supply pump and fuel filter and retesting high pressure pump.
- FUEL FILTER – Remove & Replace – V6,3.0L Eng Chassis Mounted,Fuel/Water Separator Element
- FUEL PUMP – Remove & Replace – V6,3.0L Eng In Tank,w/Skid Plate
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace – V6,3.0L Eng – [DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System charge, if necessary add Air Conditioning System – charge (complete).]
- AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM – Complete Charge – R-134a Refrigerant – [Includes: Air Conditioning system recover, evacuate and recharge.]
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check air filter and breather filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.
