- Believe P046D is a false code caused by a software issue in engine ECM. However, unable to update software do to vehicle being deleted. Recommend customer ignores EGR code. Found incorrect fuel filter was installed, and lots of metal in fuel filter bowl. Suspect injection pump is beginning to fail.
