- Vehicle has multiple diagnostic trouble codes: P0202 – Cylinder 2 – Injector Circuit Problem P0203 – Cylinder 3 – Injector Circuit Problem P0300 – Multiple Cylinder Misfire P0302 – Cylinder 2 Misfire P0303 – Cylinder 3 Misfire P0305 – Cylinder 5 Misfire P0308 – Cylinder 8 Misfire P2149 – Injector Position Voltage Control Circuit Group 2 U0101 – Lost Communication w/ TCM U0106 – Lost Communication w/ GPCM Engine runs smooth at this time with no misfire. Began wiggling injector harness next to cylinder 7 and engine went to limp home mode. GM has TSB related to this concern for broken harnesses on cylinders 2 and 7. GM has revised harnesses. Need to start by replacing pigtails 2 and 7 and retesting.
- installed updated injector harness and mounting brackets. cleared codes and road tested vehicle. cycled key several times and no injector codes returned. the only code that came back was for loss of communication to glow plug control module.
